Sussex Wedding Photographer | Powdermills Hotel Battle

A vibrant, lively, fun Powdermills Hotel  wedding in Sussex.

We met Rebecca and Wes when they came for a consultation at our house in Rye. What a force of nature Rebecca was. So enthusiastic and excited to discuss the details of her wedding she was planning at Powdermills Hotel. She found our website on google and fell in love with our vibrant clear photographs. She expressed the desire for colourful, fun pictures, so right up our street. We had never photographed at Powdermills so we were really looking forward to it.

Rebecca, her six bridesmaids were busy getting ready at her Mum’s house which was just around the corner from St John the Evangalist Church in Hastings. The girls arrived to a packed Church and eagerly awaiting Groomsmen, this set the tone of the day which was one of utter enthusiasm from the whole congregation throughout. The pink bridesmaids dresses definitely added colour, along side their vibrant bouquets it really made a feast for the eyes.

Not a hint of nerves but lots of emotion Rebecca walked down the aisle of St John the Evangalist on the arms of her very proud Father. The service full of tears and laughter, it was a privilege to watch. They exited to a barrage of confetti and exuberant congratulations.

After we captured some fun group, family pictures we followed the couple for a little drive to Powdermills Hotel. George the Peacock was in full regalia waiting for us! We had a wonderful walk with the couple around the grounds of Powdermills , taking in the lakes and garden in full bloom, including the stunning Willow trees as backdrops. These locations suited the couple perfectly and added the colour Rebecca was after.

We throughly enjoyed our day at Powdermills Hotel and hope to return soon!
