There was a autumn feel at Steve and Liane’s wedding at Bannatynes in Hastings on this October day. The leaves were starting to turn and the weather getting cooler but Steve and Liane were determined to get married in the pretty gazebo situated in the stunning garden at Bannatynes. There are a host of colourful hydrangeas that were off set by the different shades of the trees and shrubs in the background giving a lovely colourful backdrop to their photos.
We arrived nice and early to capture the girls getting ready, Liane was accompanied by her sister, daughter and some very sweet flower girls. This wedding was a big family affair and all members were very excited and looking forward to the days events.
The time came to walk down the red carpet , the children walked beautifully in two’s to the gazebo, the girls looking pretty in pink and the boys very dapper in their blue suits. I love the photo’s of the little ones, they are just too cute and so smiley! Steve’s face was a picture when he saw Liane, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
After the service we walked around to the montgomerie suite to capture the group shots in record time, giving the couple a bit of breathing space before we whisked them around the garden for some romantic photographs . This is always a great time for the couple as they get a little bit of time alone to enjoy each others company away from the guests.
After the meal and the speeches we had planned to take the couple out again for one shot with the sparklers . This is the first time we have done this, it’s quite technical to do and we enlisted the help of the best man who was expert a holding the light…lol. I’m quite pleased with the results and am looking forward to trying more.
The first dance was great fun , the wedding party had learned a group dance , this made a lovely change to the norm.
