Chris and Heidi were to tie the knot at St Mary’s Church in Rye , East Sussex. Then on to Leeford Place Hotel near battle. We started however photographing the prep shots at a family members home. Heidi and her bridesmaids, flower girls, one of which is the couples daughter and their son the pageboy, were in good spirits and having a bit of fizz to relax the nerves, well the adults not the children ha ha, girls after my own heart!
We then travelled on to St Mary’s church. We love it here, there’s nothing better than photographing in our home town, this 900 year old church is set high up on Rye hill and can bee seen for miles around, it’s as impressive inside as out. Heidi arrived in a pretty vintage car and was quickly surround by her bridesmaids to get her ready to walk to the door, always a nervous time for a Bride. But no fear Chris was waiting patiently inside to see his family walk down the aisle.
After the service and group photo’s we whisked the couple to mermaid Street to get a couple of images of this amazing street before heading off to Leeford Place . It’s a family-run Hotel in East Sussex, situated within the idyllic and historic 1066 Countryside with a picturesque setting and landscaped gardens, with a pretty wood bridge ideal for posing a Bride and Groom. We took a short walk with the couple around the garden to get some romantic pictures, which was hilarious as Chris has a great sense of humour and getting him to be serious was a challenge. We got some great images of the children having fun, even setting up a running race where they could let off some steam, I’m not sure who enjoyed that more the adults or the children.
