Brightling Park is located in East Sussex with some of the most breath-taking views of the countryside. This charming and unique venue covers over 600 acres of land, giving you the possibility to have a calm and peaceful wedding surrounded by nature and fresh air.
One of Brightling Park’s best features is it’s majestic Temple. Situated high on the hill which overlooks the south downs and Sea, it really is a stunning sight.
We had previously photographed Pippa’s sisters wedding. After seeing our photographs she was eager to book us for hers, much to our delight as we’d had great fun at the last wedding. Along side this picturesque venue we really were in for a treat.
We started the day in the family home. The kitchen was a hive of activity, with bridesmaids big and small. The family dogs were eager to get in on the action, squeezing their way through the door at every available opportunity to see what all the fuss was about.
Earlier that morning Pippa had even been out for a hunt, being a keen horsewoman she wanted to involve to get the horses involved. I think I heard her mention that the horse had worn a veil and Tiara and that he wasn’t keen.
The wedding service was at St Thomas a Becket in Brightling which is right next to Brighting Park. Decorated with beautiful floral arrangements it was pretty as a picture. Afterwards the couple excited to a long line of confetti, finishing on the church steps. Then entering the sweetest vintage car they were whisked off to the reception. This was held in a marquee overlooking the Temple in Brightling Park’s grounds. The marquee again was full of flowers arrangements, hanging from the ceiling and big urns around the side. Amazing day!
