We were delighted to be back at Blackstock Country Estate in East Sussex for Richard and Laura’s summer wedding and what a stunning day it was!
Blackstock Country Estate now hosts two beautiful restored barns, The Tudor and The Granary. Both barns are set amongst 70 acres of scenic farmland and enjoy stunning views of the South Downs. Guests can easily stroll in and out, exploring the meadows and woods at their leisure, enjoying a drink on the patio areas under the stars or taking part in the festivities inside.
Both Richard and Laura were getting ready at Blackstock Country Estate, Laura and her hundreds of bridesmaids were in the cottage. It was very crowded but great fun, how they worked out who’s dress was for who was a miracle ..ha ha. Laura was so sweet, she had a little present for them all and bouquet’s that she requested they all through at some stage in the day.
Richard and Laura have a little boy who accompanied the Bride as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her proud Brother. The service was relaxed and fun, the couple couldn’t keep it together and were in fits of giggles…brilliant!
We all came out to the most glorious weather and quickly captured the group photos. We try and get through these as quickly as possible so people can relax. The wedding party photo’s are very funny. I’ve never seen so many groomsmen and bridesmaids but it made for a great image and I love the throwing of the bouquets shots.
Richard and Laura up for anything, so we suggested that Richard run and Jump. Well he put his all into it, this photo is so much fun. They were a delight to work with and we loved our time with them and I think the photo’s reflect this.
Please take a look at Emma and Matt’s day too . A rainy wedding but with an amazing sunset .
