A beautiful Spring wedding at The Orangery Maidstone in Kent. Full of Wisteria and Bluebells.
We are always excited at the prospect of photographing a wedding at The Orangery Maidstone . Over the years we have covered many beautiful weddings here. We’re always amazed at how peaceful this place is so close to the heart of Maidstone. You transported to another place and time. There is no shortage of wonderful, interesting backdrops which is a joy for a Kent wedding photographer.
Sophie was getting ready in the Wisteria Suite, joined by some very excited bridesmaids who were busy getting their hair and make-up done . Hair by ‘she said yes bridal’ and make-up by ‘Stephanie Emma make-up’ . We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw the front of the building literally covered in wisteria and made a mental not to bring the couple back to get some WOW shots. The pretty pastel colours that Sophie had chose for her theme matched perfectly.
The weather was perfect at The Orangery Maidstone , and the outdoor ceremony took place on the upper field of under the gazebo. The trees offer a welcome shade for the strong sunlight and everyone looked magnificent, not least the groom.
Josh waited patently for Sophie to make the long walk from the main house. We like to follow the bridal party telling their story as they travel to the Gazebo.
The groom was waiting patiently for Sophie to arrive. It is always nice to capture the reaction of the groom as he sees his bride for the very first time as she walks down the aisle.
After the service and then capturing the formal photo’s we whisked the couple around the grounds for those all important romantic shots. The couple were a dream to work with and eager to try anything.
The Orangery Maidstone have some wonderful staff and the day always runs smoothly. After the wedding they shared many of our photo’s on social media which is an endorsement in itself.
