Tenterden Town Hall | Debbie Sanderson Wedding Photography

James and Sharron

James and Sharron are a local couple from Rye. We were delighted that they choose us to photograph this real family wedding. They have been together for years and have two lovely children but they finally decided to tie the knot.

They were having the service in the beautiful Tenterden Town Hall but their reception was being held at Pett Village Hall. Village Hall I hear you cry! but no, WOW they totally transformed it with an extraordinary amount of work. They’d chose a slight Labyrinth theme to run throughout the day. The Hall was strewn with white sheets and lanterns, the tables were covered in pretty masks and flowers and lot’s of homemade decorations. This wedding proves that you don’t have to spend a fortune on a venue to have a beautiful setting!

We captured the bride, bridesmaids, page boys, and flowers girls getting ready at a local hotel. The room was full of dresses, people and fun. We had some fun getting the girls to walk along the river bank in their matching dressing gowns before they all got dressed.

They had a limo to take all to Tenterden Town Hall where James nervously awaited his Bride. It was a relaxed service and afterwards we got the iconic shot of all the guests on the balcony before heading to the reception . Here we took the couple off to the near by woods to get some romantic pictures, it’s a perfect setting for their Labyrinth them and I love these images.

We stayed with the couple until the first dance, capturing the group shots, some emotional speeches , pictures with the owls, the guests and family on the bouncy castle and generally people having a lot of fun.

We came away tired but happy in the knowledge that we had some lovely images for this special couple. These are just a few!
