Stuart and Emma had their ceremony at the beautiful little St John the Baptists church at Wittersham, which is in Kent, just! They were then going on to their reception at The Azur in Hastings in East Sussex.
As always we were praying for good weather on the day, especially as Emma, her Dad and Bridesmaids were planning to walk to Witersham church from her house where she got ready. Stuart however turned up in a very posh Bentley, I think they got that the wrong way around somehow….lol. Mind you the shot of them walking down the road is great, so it was worth it!
It was a lovely service, both Bride and Groom seemed very relaxed and had all their close friends and family around them. It was very important to the couple to get photographs of these different groups after the service. As always we asked them for a shoot list prior to the day, so we can work through them quickly and without too much fuss, we don’t want to intrude on the couple and guests time! I loved the colour scheme that Emma had chosen, the pale green bridesmaids dresses were pretty as a picture and the cream and peach bouquet set them off beautifully.
Stuart and Emma didn’t want the romantic shots of them taken at the church as they planned to have them taken on the beech in Hastings which is by The Azur. The weather had brightened up beautifully so we managed to capture the happy couple with that great stunning sky and sea with some very natural shots. The couple were eager to get back to their guests so we only kept them 10 minutes which was enough to get some lovely memories for their album. We stayed to take the speeches and the mock cake cut. then left the couple to enjoy their evening.
