Rowhill Grange is just five minutes from the M25 in Wilmington near Dartford. The venue is set in 15 acres of beautiful gardens with a wonderful variety of backdrops, a photographers paradise. We were delighted to find a gorgeous tunnel of yellow Laburnum, a shady wooded area which was perfect for Stuart and Nicola’s day as the sun was really bright and the Rhododendron’s were out in full bloom, giving a vivid shot of colour.
Starting our day at Nicola’s parents house receiving a warm welcome as we had photographed Nicola’s best friends wedding a couple of years before. It’s always lovely to catch up with previous clients and see how they’re getting on.
Before setting off to Rowhill Grange we had a date at a Boxley Church where the service was taking place. Stuart looked very relaxed, literally beaming as Nicola walked down the aisle on the arm of her very proud Dad. Exciting the church to a shower of confetti the couple made the journey to Rowhill Grange in a stylish car. A vintage Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
Back at the venue, the fizz was flowing. Everyone was enjoying time in the sun in the grounds of Rowhill Grange, the weather makes a real difference.
As usual we whisked through the group photo’s, making them as much fun as possible. It’s our aim to make this part of the day as pleasurable as possible for the couple and guests as they can be a bit boring. The photo’s not the guests ha ha!
What a pleasure it was to photograph the romantic images. With the variety of backdrops and Nicola and Stuart being perfect models we could have stayed there all day, think they may have got a bit fed up though! We had a great day though.
