What a beautiful day we had with Richard and Sharrene. They had a bright, colourful, Scottish themed wedding planned for their big day.
Starting off with Sharrene getting ready at Bannatynes Hotel in Hastings. Situated in the heart of 1066 Country, between the historic towns of Battle and Hastings, this stunning Georgian country house is a lovely backdrop for a wedding, with extensive gardens and the Montgomory Suite it ticks all the boxes ,with its unique character and style, a modern boutique hotel, with many original features.
Sharrene was joined by her bridesmaids and family members who were very excited to start the big day, Grace Benson had done an amazing job with hair and make-up, Sharrene was looking amazing and I love the portrait shots we got of her just before we left.
The actual ceremony was taking place at Icklesham Church in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. Richard was nervously waiting as Sharrene was a little late, but it’s good to make them sweat…haha. The groomsmen were keeping him in good spirits though and at last she arrived to the sound of Bagpipes.
After the ceremony and the group shots it was all back to Bannatynes Hotel for the reception. The room was colourful with a tartan and red theme, very pretty. We had a fun walk with the couple around the gardens capturing their romantic photos. There were some pretty spring flowers left and some very interesting trees, which really pleased Sharenne who really loves them and it was part of their wedding theme.
The wedding breakfast was lively and fun , with a magician ‘Alexander James’ who did a fantastic job entertaining the guests . We captured the speeches and first dance, leaving the couple to dance the night away with family and friends. We were excited to see the images we had captured!
