This was simply a stunning wedding for Kent Wedding Photography. We started off shooting the bride prep shots at Lingfield Park Marriot Hotel and Country Club. The Bride, Bride’s mother and Bridesmaids had a very relaxing time getting ready but as always it’s a rush in the end. We got some lovely photos and I’m particularly pleased with the shot of the shoes reflecting in the glass table.
Robyn’s beautiful gown was designed by Justin Alexander. Her shoes were from Rainbow Club bought at John Lewis. The Bridesmaids dresses were by Dessy. The Groom and Ushers suits were hired from Dickies in Hove.

We then drove to Hever Castle and arrived to the most glorious weather. Robyn had bought umbrellas but had no need to worry. Omid and Robyn were getting married in the Italian gardens in the Loggia which overlooks the 38 acre lake. It’s a magical location for a wedding and guests can take in the views from the stone piazza complete with a Trevi fountain, there is a short walk to the Guthrie Pavilion where they held their reception, situated on the lake it proved a fantastic location to get those beautiful evening shots the lake providing a romantic backdrop coupled with the use of the lovely colored stone arches as a frame.
We took various pictures around the grounds of Hever and of course had to get that one in front of the Castle . James and I had visited Hever previously to work out exactly where we were going to take the Bride and Groom, as we didn’t want to waste any time so the couple could return to the guests as soon as possible. The choices of available locations was limitless and a photographers dream but it helped that Omid and Robyn really wanted to spend time getting those special pictures to treasure. They were perfect models and I even joked that they’d been looking in wedding magazines and practicing their poses.
We stayed up to the first dance and got some great candid shots of everyone enjoying themselves and letting their hair down. I can highly recommend this venue, wonderful grounds to work in and the staff were brilliant and certainly made our life easier!
From Robyn on her day…My favourite part of the day was walking down the aisle, holding my mum’s arm, who I knew was so proud and so full of love, the sun shining, Canon D playing and looking up, past all the guests to see Omid, so beautiful and handsome, at the end of the aisle waiting for me, knowing that was the day, that was the moment I’d remember forever – it was beautiful (and I cried!).
My favourite photo(s) are:
1. The semi-side shot of Omid and I at the ceremony, Omid wiping a tear and me looking at him, tilting my head to the side – I love this photo so much, you captured how I look at him and I love it! It’s us and so natural!
2. Us holding hands at the ceremony – simple and beautiful!
3. All my bridesmaids, mum and I before we walk down the aisle, all together – beautiful photo.
4. The photo on the balcony with the dappled sun through the leaves is simply stunning as is the one on the “monet” bridge and the one of us by the loggia, standing, looking at each other with the sun setting – beautiful!
5. The group friend shot with bridesmaids and ushers is so fun and just lovely!
6. Omid and my first dance
Sorry there are just so many – i cant quite choose one!! I love them all – really beautiful photos
