There are no words to describe how delightful this little young couple are, in love doesn’t cut it! We had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photo’s a while back, after this we knew that we were in for a treat on their big day. Of course Buxted Park wedding photography never fails to hit the mark. This it’s got to be one of my favourite venues. The Grade II listed Palladian mansion, set in the finest parkland, is a unique backdrop and the rooms inside are just as stunning, so if the weather isn’t good on your day there are plenty of lovely places to take pictures, including a grand staircase with a crystal chandelier .
Fortunately we had no such problem this wedding day, after a week of every sort of session you could think of, including snow! The sun shone brightly. We arrived and immediately started capturing the Bridesmaids getting ready. Both the Bride and Bridesmaids had their make-up done by Lauren Louise professional hair and make-up, she did a fab job, I think Sarah look incredible. James and I always have a little bet on , we call it “guess the dress”. I was spot on with Sarah’s dress, guessing it would be figure hugging with foo foo on the bottom…lol.
James took a few pictures of Joe and the Groomsmen who were in fine spirits and looking forward to the day as were the guests. It was a simple service held in the orangery, Joe and Sarah just looked over the moon that they could finally tie the knot.
Afterwards it was drinks on the lawn, group shots, followed by a few romantic shots before the meal and speeches. We had a bit of time to take the couple out for some early evening images too, these are my favourite of the day, everyone was relaxed and we could have some fun. We stayed until the first dance, capturing some guests throwing some shapes . We left very happy in the knowledge that captured the day fully.
