Middle Temple Wedding

James and Emma had seen our work on the website from one or two other London venues. Despite the fact that we’re a Rye Wedding Photographer they were impressed enough to travel down to us in Rye for a consultation. The Wedding was to be held in the beautiful and historical Middle – Temple area just off Fleet Street. It’s a stunning location for a City wedding and the Bride’s Hotel, the Apex Temple Court Hotel, the Church and Reception venue were within easy walking distance for all concerned. The prep shots were a pleasure to do. As can be seen in the photos there was a real calmness about both the bridesmaids and bride. The preparation timings were all good and this meant we were able to work with Emma to get some stunning shots of her in her dress beforehand.

The Temple Church is a 12th Century building constructed by the Knights Templar and was a grand and imposing place to hold the Service. It is steeped in history and wonderful decor and this coupled with a truly excellent choir and enthusiastic Vicar meant the Service was a very special and memorable occasion. Access for us as photographers was good. There was lots of space at the side aisles which we were able to utilise unobtrusively throughout the service. This meant we could move around to get varying shots.

The reception was the at The Hall at Middle Temple which is one of the finest examples of an Elizabethan hall in the Country, this proved yet another stunning location to shoot in. Hopefully our pictures will do it justice and there was no shortage of spaces, both inside and out to capture our happy couple. We have now shot several weddings as London wedding photographers so I think it’s fair to consider us fairly metropolitan these days!
