The Gallivant Hotel, our rather eclectic, shabby chic coastal hideaway, once a former retro motel on the edge of Camber, is located opposite the dunes and famous golden beach of Camber sands.
Surrounded by the un-manicured openness of the Romney salt marshes, the hauntingly beautiful Dungeness and a myriad of un-touched villages, we are only an hour and a half away from central London and very easy to get to.
This was our first time shooting here and a great place for East Sussex wedding photography. We started off our day by taking some relaxed shots of the guests arriving and the groom with his best men and groomsmen, they were all in good spirits and ready to have a laugh. It was a stunning sunny day, perfect for this sort of wedding as we knew Jack and Amelia wanted to take the whole wedding party on to the beach to get their group shots and some romantic shots of them.
Amelia had chosen the perfect dress for this wedding and it was nice to see a mid-length dress for a change and I loved the colour of the bridesmaids dresses continuing the beach theme.
After the service the Gallivant served oysters and champagne before we all wandered over to the dunes.
Hor deurves and drinks were then served on the beach which is where we took the group shots and again used the dunes as an interesting back brop.. Jack and Amelia booked our bronze package but still got a variety of shots on their album.
They were over the moon with their album and the family loved the DVD slideshow we provide to every couple which can be played on your Tele or computer.
