Adam and Sarah approached us some time last year about shooting their wedding at Bannatyne Hotel in Hastings. They had several photographers to choose from but lucky for us they chose Debbie Sanderson Wedding Photography! (and I’d like to think, lucky for them! 🙂 ) Bannatynes Hotel is becoming a bit of a regular venue for us and for a Hastings Wedding Photographer it’s a great local venue. Complemented by picturesque gardens and patios that act as the perfect backdrop to your photographs, we are really getting to grips with what photos will come out best there.
Adam and Sarah had planned to get married in the gazebo in the garden and lucky for them the weather was glorious so their wish came true. As usual we shot the wedding from two perspectives with James and I both armed with our Canon MKII cameras, a zoom lense on one and all purpose lens on the other we are able to not only get different perspectives but also get the shots we want without intruding too much into the proceedings.
The guests were a pleasure to work with and this helped the Bride and Groom to relax so that once we had completed the post service group shots Adam and Sarah had gone from the Bride and Groom who didn’t like having their photos taken, to a point where they were really starting to enjoy the whole process. This is always our aim and as usual we worked hard to ensure that we all had fun and that the photography actually became an enjoyable part of the wedding day, we think this shows in the photos!
